Closed-Mouth Breathing Method

Often close the mouth and calmly regulate breathing, keeping the breath even and gentle.

Hair Combing

Interlace all ten fingers in the hair and use your fingers to comb, pressing and rubbing the scalp from front to back; helps regulate the head's qi and blood, relax tension, and clear the mind.

04

Eye Movement Method

After long periods of eye use, take a rest and move the eyeballs from left to right about 10 times, then rotate from right to left about 10 times, then gaze into the distance and close the eyes to rest briefly; repeat 4–5 times. Helps clear the liver and brighten the eyes, relieving eye fatigue.

05

Abdominal Rubbing Method

After every full meal, while walking, use warmed palms to massage the abdomen clockwise around the navel. About 30 times; helps strengthen the stomach and aid digestion, eliminating bloating.

06

  Sole Massage Method

The center of the sole is where the Yongquan acupoint is located. Every night before sleep, use the thumb to press and massage the center of the sole in a clockwise direction. About 100 times; helps strengthen the waist and fortify the kidneys.

07

  Ear Covering Method

When feeling irritable or anxious, try covering the ears with both hands, close the eyes, and slowly lower and raise the head. 5–8 times. Helps quiet the mind and dispel distracting thoughts.

08

  Qi Lifting Method

When inhaling, slightly contract the anus and lift the perineal area upward together, holding for 1–2 seconds, then exhale slowly and release. This is the commonly recommended anal lift exercise; helps prevent and treat perianal hemorrhoids and promotes blood circulation and qi movement.

09

  Saliva Swallowing Method

Traditional Chinese medicine holds that saliva is transformed from kidney essence and is secreted by the left Jinjin and right Yuye points at the root of the tongue, so saliva is also called "Jinjin Yuye". Every morning, press the tongue against the palate to help connect the Ren and Du meridians, regulate the channels, and smooth qi and blood. When the mouth fills with saliva, swallow it several times to aid digestion and nourish kidney essence.

10

  Face Rubbing Method

Every morning after washing, rub your hands until warm and use the middle fingers to rub along both sides of the nose from bottom to the forehead, then separate the hands to the sides, move down across the cheeks, and cyclically knead the face. About 10 times, until the face feels slightly warm. Helps clear the facial meridians and qi and blood, relieve fatigue, and invigorate and refresh.
