On September 6, we’ll be at the World Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritors Conference!

On September 6, 2023, the 2023 World Conference of Intangible Cultural Heritage Practitioners will be held at the National Convention Center in Beijing. Guo Jiayi, the representative inheritor of the national-level intangible cultural heritage “Pingle Guo’s Orthopedic Manipulation Technique,” has been invited to attend. On this occasion, she will join intangible cultural heritage practitioners from around the world to discuss the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage.

The World Conference of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritors is currently one of the highest-profile, comprehensive conferences in the ICH sector. This edition is jointly guided by UNESCO, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology; co-organized by the CIOFF International Council for Folk Arts, the Organizing Committee of the World Frontier Technology Conference, and the Beijing Legacy Skills Center for the Protection and Development of Intangible Cultural Heritage; and undertaken by Oriental Civilization (Beijing) International Culture Co., Ltd. With the theme “Inheriting Civilization, Promoting Brands, and Conveying Value,” the conference welcomes friends from around the globe to jointly explore the future path of intangible cultural heritage.

As one of China’s four great cultural treasures, Traditional Chinese Medicine has long been regarded by the world as a truly miraculous practice.
